dawnoctopus - I love this MegaFlow Wet/Dry filter sump! I had originally built my own sump for cost reasons. I quickly understood why I should have bought a sump!
This sump is not only affordable, but very effective. It has plenty of " real estate " on the inside of the sump. In mine I have a remote deep sand bed, a large amount of cured live rock, a heater, a protein skimmer, sponges, and a return pump.
This sump is compact for it's gallon rating, and should fit easily under your tank's stand. One of the reasons that I got this sump instead of a different one was it's ability to fit under my tank's stand. I have a large All Glass corner tank, and they are very difficult in terms of lighting and fitting things under the stand. I am very happy that I was able to find this sump.
I think that the All Glass Mega Flow brand is a brand that you can trust. So far I have not had any trouble at all with my sump, and I have owned it for about a year. The acrylic is well put together, and the seams are sturdy.
One of my favorite features of this sump is the water level indicator. If your water gets too low you not only risk your salinity rising, but you can also burn out your return pump! This sump has a side that is clearly marked where your water level should be, so you can add more when it gets low.
The only thing that I found lacking in this sump was the fact that it included bio balls. These are the round plastic balls that the water flows over when it enters the sump. They included them because they can build beneficial bacteria, however I think that they just build up the nitrates in your tank!
I believe that this sump also comes in a smaller size for people who have smaller aquariums. In my opinion, this sump is the best one that you can get for the money!

Jim Illinois - This MegaFlow wet/dry product is very easy to install, use, and maintain, while performing great.

Barry D. - My first choice would be to build one, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the Megaflow. It's cheaper and I don't care for the biowheel design. The Megaflow does all you need. The other seems a bit gimmicky to me.

AboutSaltaquarium - High quality acrylic wet/dry sump filter is engineered for quiet and easy operation. Unique multi-chambered sump expels air bubbles quietly through the primary "Bubble Chamber" and through a final bubble defusing sponge. Reduces gurgling noises and air bubbles that may affect pump performance. Features removable filter media drawer that slides out easily to be filled with your favorite media for custom filtration.

David Johnston - The Megaflow wet/dry was a purchase that did not drain me.  I found it to be quite reasonable priced to some of the higher quality sump systems.  The water indicator is a nice feature.  So far, I have no complaints with the product except it can be a little noisey.  You will need to do some tinkering around to get the noise to go away.

Brendel - The CPR Cyclone is a great starters kit. Took some work to run -I've external pump. Since intall of our tank Oct04 the tank chemistry has been flawless. The skimmmer may be subpar. Perhaps it's that good! Great Value!
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Ryan - CPR Cyclone.  I've had a salt water tank for over 8 years. So experience is in ample supply. However, I have yet to figure out how to get this system set up. My advice after having purchased this product is to buy everything separtely... the pumps, the protein skimmer, everything! Will it be more expensive? Yes! Quite! But, again: you get what you pay for... 'Protein skimmer may be sub-par'? Are you kidding? It's worthless! And I still cannot for the life of me figure out why they put an air hole on the top of the overflow. How do you start a siphon with an air hole! It's like trying to inflate a tire that has a huge freakin' gash in it! As the Comic Book Guy in the Simpsons would say: WORST PRODUCT EVER!!!! I tried to submit this review but I couldn't until gave it one star, which it does not deserve! I would not recommend this product to my friends.

AboutSaltaquarium - Compact unit that fit under most aquarium stands. Constructed of heavy-duty acrylic with flame polished edges and non-warping lid, and utilizing the same revolutionary Bio-Bale media as the CPR Wet/Dry Filter above, the Cyclone Bio-Filter comes equipped with a built-in venturi protein skimmer and powerhead, which features a bypass for constant water and air mixing for maximum skimming action. The purchase of a pump, return line materials, and possibly other items are required to run this filter.

Paul Baccam - The CPR Cyclone is a Great system but the hose that came with it is a bit stiff. Because of the confined space it created somewhat of a sink trap eventually flow got backed up. I had to change to pvc with a vent pipe to give it a better run. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends

Ken - The CPR Cyclone might be alright if you plan to use on a 55 gal tank or smaller. Anything larger and it will not clean properly. the rio 2500 pump had to be replaced 2 times due to failure. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Michael - This CPR Cyclone sump seems too small in capacity for a 100 gallon tank. I have had to add a second sump to my system. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Aboutsaltaquarium - The overflow, sump style Wet/Dry series filter by PAS is available in a compact Slim Line 60g model designed to fit tight cabinet spaces, larger 75, 125, 175, 200, 300, and 400 gallon capacity units. Each includes a pre-filter, bio-ball filled media chamber, and all tubing. The Pro Wet/Dry series 75, 150, 200 and 300 units have the same above features that include a skimmer placed before the biological media chamber, which can easily be removed during filter operation for cleaning, a pump for skimmer operation, a choice of with or without a pre-filter models, and many other features. A return water pump is required.

Warren Brown - Bought the Proclear wet/dry because I thought the large capacity of bio-balls would be sufficient to handle my 135 gallon set-up.  So far I have not been let down in performance.  I also like the way the tray works... it seems to keep the noise at a minimal.  Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Ron - Initially purchased the Eschopps wet/dry for the narrow overflow box. Only 3 inches deep. which is the distance from the back of my 360 gallon aquarium and the wall. For any beginners who want to go with a wet dry system I would recommend Eshopps.

Clark Sampson - The Eschopps is a great starters sump system.  It fit nicely under my cabinet and all seems to be working well.  Would buy again.

Brook D. - The Living Color clear choice wet/dry is a very nice system.  However, it was quite expensive.  But I like the fact that it was larger in space design which allowed me to add additional equipment as I desired.
